Unfortunately, the O'Shaughnessy recipes that Gottlieb quotes from are vague and little rings true from my experience. Looking for something more accurate like the 1910 edition of the Therapeutic Gazette by Dr. Ball, entitled, "The Effects of Hashish Not Do To Cannabis Indica" (describes formula for Bhang as used in Mysore, India).
